PGA Professional, Ron Philo, Sr., has spent his whole life sharing
his passion for golf with his family. This passion for sharing
resulted in the creation of Ron Philos’ School of Golf with his
son, Ron Philo, Jr., and led his daughter, Laura Diaz, to success
on the LPGA tour.
The Father-Son team combined their teaching and playing experience
to create a curriculum for long term improvement. They identified
three principles as necessary for continuous and continual
improvement. The result is what they call the Improvement Pyramid:
For students to
truly develop their golf games they must gain a fundamental
Understanding of how the club is designed to make the ball move to
the target. They must gain an Awareness of themselves and how they
need to feel and move to make the clubs perform, and they must
Exercise or practice these movements.
The instructors of Ron Philos’ School of Golf will help you
Understand, provide the tools to gain Awareness, and work with you
to develop Exercises and practice habits that will lead you to
long-term improvement.
The school is currently undergoing a technology up-grade enhancing
its video analysis capability by adding the V-1 software system to
its arsenal of tools to assist golfers in gaining an improved
understanding of how they can improve their golf swings.
